In the words of Plato “Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything”. Every note of music is an attempt to speak the universal language of humanity. Keeping this philosophy in mind, we at Presidium believe in providing utmost importance to this magnificent and artistic field of music. Music is not just food for the soul, but also promotes unity and diversity at the same time. It can evoke every feeling to occupy the human heart –from deep melancholy to profound joy. Presidium is an ideal platform to nurture this beautiful art as we regularly organise competitions for students to develop an interest in this field.

The school promotes the students to learn various musical instruments of their interests so that they can understand and work upon their potential from an early age. We believe in making musical maestros of tomorrow and foster them accordingly. For this, we also have Academy for music- The Eighth note. Almost every event at Presidium is a golden opportunity for students to portray their hidden talents and inculcate learn new skills. From indian classical music, to western to beat-boxing and learning the harmonium, guitar, drums, flute and casio, we strive long and hard, so that our Presidians never let anything stop them from becoming Number One and pursuing their dreams.
