STAGE EXPOSURE OPENS GATEWAY OF LEARNING FOR PRESIDIANS

Imaginative role play has its foundations in creativity. It is a crucial step in promoting intellectual, creative and social development of students as well as aids in the growth of their thought process and language skills. With this aim, Presidians of Grade 1st to 3rd, participated in a role play activity based on the theme ‘Real life heroes’.
Roping in the principal of imaginative role play, Presidians brilliantly portrayed the characters of these heroes like Rani of Jhansi, Tipu Sultan, Baji Rao, Mangal Pandey, Bhagat Singh, Udhham Singh, Kalpana Chawla, Malala Yousafzhai, Neerja Bhanot, Maneka Gandhi, Charlie Chaplin, M.S. Dhoni, Sania Mirza and many more.
It was a real treat to watch our students enact these eminent personalities and their contributions to their motherland. Role play is a learning activity that allows students to explore realistic situations by enacting and creating visual scenarios and interacting with other people. It provides a well defined pathway to significant learning, while allowing students to gain experience and also, encouraging them to understand the various fields of academics like history, literature, art and culture.
