PRESIDIANS REMEMBER THE TEACHINGS OF NELSON MANDELA

To shine light on the legacy of a man who changed the 20th century and helped shape the 21st, Nelson Mandela International Day is celebrated every year. The day focuses on renewing the values by which Mandela was inspired, his determination, commitment to justice, human rights, and fundamental freedoms. Young Presidians took up this challenge and organized a special assembly to commemorate the legacy of Nelson Mandela and his values through volunteering and community service. Students were highly mesmerized by knowing the heroic life of Nelson Mandela and learned how they could contribute a lot to the world.
