PRESIDIANS IMBIBE THE MIGHT, WISDOM & PREACHING OF LORD BUDDHA

He seated himself beneath the Bodhi Tree in the meditation posture and vowed not to rise from meditation until he had attained perfect enlightenment. He was Gautama Buddha! To commemorate the birth and enlightenment of Gautam Buddha, students of Presidium celebrated Buddha Purnima with utmost veneration and sanctity. The young learners came together to celebrate the might, wisdom, and preaching of Lord Buddha, whose emphasis on conduct and righteousness has greatly augmented Indian society. A discussion on the life and times of Gautama Buddha and Buddha Purnima took place, wherein various teachings of Gautama Buddha like his insights on the strength of mind and soul were shared. This was followed by a session of meditation with teachers and students chanting "Buddham Saranam Gacchami" which unfolded an ambiance full of calmness and tranquility.
