SOLAR SYSTEM ACTIVITY:STUDENTS DELVE INTO THE WORLD OF ASTRONOMY

With the aim of providing exposure to the students about the solar system and movement of the planets around the sun, an activity was recently conducted for the students of Presidium. Videos related to the Solar System and different Planets were discussed and explained to the students. Students were encouraged to make a model of the Solar System using their creativity. The objective behind the activity was to clear the concept of motion of the earth. The pedagogy of Experiential learning helped in connecting with complex concepts and made it easier for students to understand.
