JOYFUL MAKAR SANKRANTI & PONGAL CELEBRATION FOR OUR PRESIDIANS

Makar Sankranti is the most important festival dedicated to the sun deity. Also known as Maghi, the festival is observed every year in January. Students of various grades dressed up in traditional wear to mark this festive occasion. They were excited to know the significance of kites soaring high indicating happiness to celebrate a good harvest. They also marked the auspicious occasion of Pongal with festive fervour. Students spread the Makar Sankranti cheer and conveyed greetings of Pongal by showcasing posters, making colourful rangoli, and flying Kite.
