STUDENTS PARTICIPATE IN THE RADIO JOCKEY ACTIVITY WITH ZEAL

As a part of the academic activity, the students of grade-VIII presented a Radio Jockey Show. This was in sync with the content area of the curriculum designed for the grade. The activity was assigned to the class as a learning outcome of reporting and creating news clippings done in the class. Various topics were allotted to each group ranging from environment, entertainment, social networking to media, movies, and mental health. The scripts made by the participants were well articulated and beautifully woven keeping the topic on top of their minds. There were fascinating anecdotes, facts related to different issues, unlimited tongue-in-cheek humour, classic Bollywood parodies that were integral to each presentation. The sharings were
impactful indeed and were conveyed in a way that either affects the common man or interests him. The enthusiasm coupled with a zeal to excel was quite evident from the level of participation of the students and the energy that they transacted during the presentation.
