PRESIDIANS CREATE AWARENESS TO ELIMINATE VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN

Violence against women is one of the most widespread, persistent, and devastating human rights violations in our world. In order to acknowledge the role of women in our society and also to give prominence to their existence, violence against their identity should be brought to a halt. With this thought, a special assembly was organized at Presidium for the students to discuss the need and importance of women empowerment. The event commenced with the school prayer and thought of the day on the empowerment of women. The students highlighted the issues faced by women through songs, speeches, and recitations. Through the performances, the women were motivated to break the silence as the time for complacency was long gone.
