NATIONAL UNITY DAY: CELEBRATING THE IDEALS OF UNITY & INTEGRITY

National Unity Day is celebrated to mark the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel, popularly known as the “Iron Man of India" Sardar Patel. As an endeavor to solidify the bond of oneness and unification, Presidium School celebrated the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel as Rashtriya Ekta Diwas. Presidians paid homage to the illustrious leader by spreading his motivational words through poster making and slogan writing. Students were dressed in costumes representing India from Kashmir to Kanyakumari. They greeted their teachers in their local languages and also showed different ways of greeting. They showed different modes of living, different food habits, different worshipping styles of God. To spread the message of unity in diversity, students also took the pledge of unity during their class. The idea was to infuse in the young future generation, the values integrated with the knowledge and adoration about the country's rich heritage and inculcate admiration for the values of honesty, loyalty, truthfulness.
