International Tiger Day, also known as Global Tiger Day, is celebrated every year on July 29th to raise awareness about this magnificent but endangered big cat. The day aims to help promote a worldwide system whereby we are dedicated to protecting tigers and their natural habitats. Our young Presidians also roared on this day to support tiger conservation issues & to raise awareness about its importance. They created tiger craft and discussed issues that have caused their numbers to fall, including urbanization of jungles, habitat loss, climate change, hunting, and poaching. They also created a web flow diagram on issues around tiger conservation and the imbalance it causes to spread the knowledge that can help to make sure that we all do our bit to ensure their conservation & a better future. It’s very important that we all join together in this effort, not only to save tigers but to save our forests and their inhabitants.
