PRESIDIANS STAND FOR ONENESS ON WORLD DAY OF SOCIAL JUSTICE

Social justice is an underlying principle for peaceful and prosperous coexistence within and among nations. We advance social justice when we remove barriers that people face because of gender, age, race, ethnicity, religion, culture, or disability. To celebrate and spread awareness amongst the students about World Day of Social Justice, Presidium had organized a handful of activities in the virtual assembly. The objective was to advance the understanding that "the goal of social justice is the full and equal participation of all groups in a society that is mutually shaped to meet their needs." The assembly foregrounded that social development and social justice cannot be attained in the absence of peace and security or the absence of respect for all human rights and fundamental freedoms.
