OM NAMAH SHIVAY! PRESIDIANS CELEBRATE MAHASHIVRATRI WITH ZEAL!
Dated: 11-03-2021
Maha Shivaratri is a Hindu festival celebrated annually in honour of the god Shiva. It is a major festival in Hinduism, and it marks a remembrance of "overcoming darkness and ignorance" in life and the world. It is observed by remembering Shiva and chanting prayers, fasting, and meditating on ethics and virtues such as honesty, non-injury to others, charity, forgiveness, and the discovery of Shiva. All of us at Presidium celebrated Maha Shivratri with our utmost admiration and enthusiasm. We commenced the day with Lord Shiva's aarti, and it filled us all with a great sense of spirituality. Students were shown a short story video to make them understand the festival and its importance in our culture.
