PRESIDIUM HOSTS INTER SCHOOL ZONAL DANCE COMPETITION

Dance is the conversation of the body with the soul. As an art form, it has been an integral part of Indian culture and heritage since ancient times. The diverse culture of India exquisitely treasures a wide variety of folk and tribal dance forms that vary in style of different regions across the country. It is rightly considered as one of the most captivating art forms and beautifully showcases self-expression. In its true sense, dance is not just a good form of exercise, but is also a great source for boosting creativity, imagination, confidence and focus of young hearts.
Therefore, when the Presidium hosted an exciting Zonal Folk Dance Competition, students did not let the opportunity fly by & displayed their brilliant dancing skills. The school was choc a bloc with countless students from over 24 participant schools, dressed in enticing traditional folk attires. Presidians from Dwarka 16B won the first prize for their remarkable performance.
It was a joy watching the children explore the rich cultural heritage of folk dances of India.
