PRESIDIANS STRENGTHEN THEIR ECONOMICS KNOWLEDGE!

Economics helps us identify the policy measures that encourage prosperity and avoid inefficiency, making it a crucial driver in the search for sustainable growth. Project work in Economics helps understand some basic economic concepts and the development of economic reasoning. It assists students to realize their role in nation-building and sensitivity to the economic issues that the nation is facing today and develop the necessary skills to argue logically with reasoning. In line with this view, an Online activity was taken up by the students of Grade 11. PowerPoint presentations were prepared and delivered on Microsoft Teams. Demonetization, GST, Cybercrime, Small scale industries, Stock Exchange, etc., were some of the Economic issues/topics discussed in context with the Indian economy's current scenario. The exuberant efforts and keen engagement of the students were acknowledged and appreciated.
