Ganesh Chaturthi is a ten-day Hindu festival celebrated to mark the occasion of the birth of Lord Ganesha. The auspicious festival was celebrated with great fervour, through a special assembly, conducted by Presidium students. The assembly began with reciting the sloka, ‘Vakratunda Mahakaya.’ The students delivered speeches and shared the significance of this festival. Through the assembly, the students got a glimpse of the rich Hindu culture and the importance of worshiping Lord Ganesha as the God of wisdom, good fortune, and prosperity.
