It is a universally acknowledged truth that communication plays a vital role in human life and society. It helps to facilitate the sharing of information and knowledge with others; hence its importance cannot be underestimated. Under the theme Communication, Presidians explored the functions of Mass Communication - which is to inform, educate, and entertain - and their impact on human life. They also learned about the process of newspaper making, its distribution, and people involved in this field and their work—traditional means of mass communication and the evolution of mass media in India.
