TEACHER TRAINING KEY IN RAISING LEADERS

Teachers build the capacities and capabilities of students. A teacher’s empowerment directly reflects on students’ learning. Following this principle, our teachers ensure that they continue to learn to be able to teach better. This summer they undertook enriching and knowledgeable workshops with a series of discussions, interactions and video presentations so as to augment their ability in identifying different ways in which they can fortify students’ strength and raise them as future leaders. Such well-designed training programmes lead to enhanced teaching-learning process inside and outside the classrooms. The teachers also recognise that their role is not limited to the cognitive development of the student, but they also play a crucial role in the emotional development and psychological wellbeing of the child. These workshops pay special attention towards enhancing their expertise in motivating and counselling students and pave the way for shaping powerful leaders and successful achievers.
