National Science Day is celebrated all over India on 28 February to mark the discovery of the phenomenon of Raman Effect by CV Raman in 1928. A special assembly was conducted by Presidians on this year’s theme, “Women in Science.” It is dedicated to women involved in Science and also to motivate them to participate more in a science activity. The students emphasized the use of Science and technology for our present generation. The assembly also included a discussion on the pertinent role of students in the development of Science and technology. It was indeed a very knowledgeable day in which the main motive was to spread a message about the importance of Science used in the daily life of the people.
