PRESIDIANS, THE GLOBAL CITIZENS OF TOMORROW
Dated: 27-01-2016
In order to transform Presidians into global citizens, the students from Presidium, Dwarka 16B, from Grade IV to VII were introduced to various international languages such as Spanish, French and German. A special activity was organised on 27th January with the objective of encouraging Presidians to learn and appreciate the civilization and culture of various countries. Through the activity, the children learning Spanish were given an exciting project that allowed them to research about different monuments and then create a 3D version of them. Presidians thoroughly enjoyed the activity and came up with wonderful projects.
Some of the projects made by the students were Alahmbara of Spain, Chichenitza of Mexico and Castle de la Moda of Mexico. The students also shared the history behind these monuments with their classmates and teachers. The activity offered the perfect platform for our students to boost their global awareness while showcasing their creativity. It was indeed an enriching experience for our students as they got the opportunity to develop a sense of respect and understanding of different cultures in an exciting way.
