PRESIDIANS WELCOME THE NEW HARVEST SEASON WITH LOHRI CELEBRATION

Lohri is a celebration to spread the joy of the harvest season amidst traditional folk songs, dance and food. Presidians organised a special assembly to mark the festival of Lohri. Students highlighted the significance of this festival for the farmers of northern India. The captivating performances on folk songs of Punjab and Haryana created an atmosphere of delight. Various rituals related to the festival like the ‘puja parikrama’ were demonstrated by the Presidians. The lively and positive aura of the festivities brought a cheerful lush to the school premises!
