Educational excursions to cultural and historical places provide memorable and immersive learning experiences. These trips provoke imagination, introduce children to unknown worlds and also offer unique environments for recreation. Keeping this in mind, Presidium of Grade 3, went on a trip to Chokhi Dhani in Jaipur, organised by Chapter Earth.
The trip captured the vibrant spirit of Rajasthan and brought with it a unique experience of its rich culture and heritage through the traditional Bani Thani paintings, folk dance performances of Ghumar and Kalbeliya and a visit to City Palace, Jaigarh Fort, Hawa Mehal and Jantar Mantar.
The trip gave the students a chance for close interaction with peers and provided an opportunity of learning through travel, in an informal environment different than the classroom.
