'Folk dances reflect the roots of a nation's culture'
India is a land of varied cultures and traditions. Diversity in all spheres makes our culture unique and distinct. Indian folk and tribal dances are a doorway to the different socio-economic set up and traditions. Celebrating these rich cultural treasures, Presidium organised an Inter-Class Folk Dance Competition for primary grade students.
The students performed beautiful folk dance forms like Mayurbhanj Chhau, Garba, Bihu, Lavani, Kalbelia and many more. The mesmerizing presentation of the vibrant culture and purity of these dance forms was a true delight to watch. The preparations and efforts put in by the parents and teachers were truly praiseworthy and commendable. Such initiatives truly help connect children to our culture and roots.
