The festival of Basant Panchami marks the onset of spring. It falls on the fifth day (Panchami) of the Hindu month of Magha. According to popular belief, Goddess Saraswati, the deity of knowledge, music arts and science, was born on this day and people worship her to invoke her blessings.
Presidium celebrated the festival with great liveliness. A beautiful and vibrant cultural program was organized by our talented Presidians. The middle school choir presented a soulful song, and gave a wonderful classical dance performance. The performances were exclusively dedicated to Goddess Saraswati, and it left the audience mesmerized.
With this felicitous occasion, that marks the onset of spring season, the students stepped in the vibrancy of life and new hopes.
