HAPPY BAISAKHI! CELEBRATING THE SEASON OF NEW HARVEST & HOPES!

Baisakhi is one of the most popular and important festivals celebrated in the state of Punjab and various other parts of India. To mark this day, we celebrated Baisakhi Festival in Presidium with full zeal and fervour. The students came for the celebration dressed up in traditional attires. They enthralled the celebration with melodious folk songs and foot-tapping bhangra performances. They also recited poems, gave speeches, and sang songs. The day began with thanking the almighty for his divine grace and was carried forward by a cultural show depicting the significance of Baisakhi. Teachers explained the historic and cultural importance of the festival to the students. The motive behind the celebration was to apprise the students of their culture and heritage.
