National Vaccination Day is observed every year on March 16 to convey the significance of vaccination as well as its role in public health. National Vaccination Day 2022 creates awareness and sends the message of how vaccination or immunization is the most effective way of preventing highly infectious diseases. Presidium observed National Immunization Day with the aim to promote the use of vaccines to protect people of all ages against multiple diseases. There are still nearly 20 million children in the world today who are not getting the vaccines they need. Teachers highlighted the importance of the day and also made the children aware of the importance of vaccines against smallpox, measles, polio, etc.
