SALUTING OUR SOLDIERS FOR THEIR FORTITUDE ON ARMY DAY

Army Day is celebrated on January 15 every year in India. It is on this historic day that General KM Cariappa became the first Indian to take charge of the Indian Army in 1949. The day is celebrated to honour our country’s soldiers, who set the most exceptional example of selfless service and brotherhood, and above all, love for the country. To honour their service and salute their sacrifices, students paid homage to these conquering heroes who safeguard their countrymen in all situations. Students dressed up like soldiers and presented their tribute through pictures, videos, slogans, posters, songs, and poems. The activity made them aware of the primary mission of the Indian Army and also acquainted them with how they defend the nation from external aggression and international threats.
