National Pollution Prevention Day is observed annually on December 2nd to create awareness about the increasing pollution levels and their hazardous effect on human beings and our ecosystem. The objective behind the observance of this day is to become aware of the daily acts that have resulted in the surge of pollution so that we can try to reduce them. To spread awareness on managing and controlling pollution, Presidium observed National Pollution Prevention Day. Students took a pledge to create a pollution-free earth and raised awareness about the problem caused by the increasing pollution and its disastrous consequences. Students were encouraged to follow practices like growing more trees, carpooling, and avoid the usage of plastic bags. With an informative skit, students urged everyone to stop polluting and start planting.
