DUSSEHRA: CELEBRATING THE TRIUMPH OF GOOD OVER EVIL

To mark Lord Rama’s victory over Ravana, Presidium celebrated Dussehra through a special class. Teachers narrated the story of Ramayana and students participated with full zeal in meaningful discussions to understand the rich culture and values. They were shown a small video clip on the same. They were also told that this festival also starts the preparation of India’s most widely celebrated festival Diwali, which is celebrated twenty days after Dussehra. To begin the festivities of the season the students participated in a stupendous celebration. They performed various dances, enactments, sang songs, and recited poems and stutis.
