INTERNATIONAL DAY OF GIRL CHILD: HAIL GIRL POWER!

.Every year on 11th October, International Girl Child Day is celebrated to focus on the needs, the challenges girls face and to promote girls’ empowerment and the fulfillment of their human rights. To make the students aware of the day, Presidium organized a special class wherein students were told about the purpose of the day that is to spread awareness about the gender-based discrimination, challenges that girls face in our society and to bring change in the attitude towards girls. By celebrating, protecting, and educating the girl child, we empower her and by empowering girls we empower their communities which means empowering the nation! The young Presidians gave speeches and talked about the importance of girls’ right to equal education and their fundamental freedom followed by sharing motivational thoughts through placards. With spectacular performances, the students encouraged everyone to raise awareness about the different types of social discrimination and exploitation that girls face in their lives and to actively participate to build a better future for all.
