Dated: 02-10-2021
“My life is my message.” – M.K Gandhi
Mahatma Gandhi or more lovingly known as Bapu by all Indians is internationally acknowledged for his doctrine of non-violence that led India to its glorious freedom. To revere this day, the students of grade 4B held a Virtual assembly to give a deep insight into the life and times of Mahatma Gandhi. The students were beautifully dressed in ethnic wear with their beaming faces. Gandhian quotes and messages led everyone to understand more about this iconic leader. Students showcased the role of Bapu in the Dandi March, Quit India Movement, and Non-Cooperation movement. Gandhiji’s three monkeys depicted the importance of seeing good, hearing good, and speaking good. A melodious song was also presented in the assembly. Towards the end, Presidians promised to imbibe the teachings of Gandhiji in their lives.
