AKSHAY URJA DIWAS: PRESIDIANS JOIN HANDS TO CONSERVE ENERGY!

Akshay Urja Diwas is an awareness campaign about the developments of renewable energy in India, celebrated on August 20 every year since 2004. Presidium observed Akshay Urja Diwas virtually to make students aware of the numerous advantages of using renewable energy sources. Our talented students made posters, wrote quotes and slogans, speeches, and prepared models to mark this day. The students, along with teachers, took a pledge to conserve energy. They displayed scientific models based on renewable energy sources and talked about the judicious use of electricity and life processes to save the environment from pollution. Presidians also pledged to switch to renewable energy sources and go green to ensure sustainable development of our country. The main objective of the session was to support renewable energy development programs and promote their use instead of traditional sources of energy.
