National Science Day is observed on 28th February to commemorate the discovery of the 'Raman Effect' by Sir Chandrasekhara Venkata Raman. This day is celebrated to mark the importance of contributions made by scientists towards the development of our nation and the world as a whole. Students of Presidium celebrated this day with great ardour to honour the great scientists. They indulged in various experiments that stimulated their curiosity and also made them understand the need for science in everyday routine. Our budding scientists used simple materials for performing these experiments, reinforcing the fact that science is all around us. They spread the message of the importance of science in our lives.
