PRESIDIANS ENHANCE THEIR KNOWLEDGE ABOUT PROPERTIES OF AIR

The world we live in is covered with air, called the atmosphere. To explain to students about the different properties of air, a virtual activity was conducted in Grade 4. Presidians enhanced their knowledge about air and its properties by exploring their immediate surroundings. Students performed various experiments and derived the properties of air such as air has weight, air exerts pressure, can be compressed, air expands on heating, and air has the ability to move things. They were enthusiastic about learning by doing. Experiential learning helped them relate to the uses of properties of air in their direct environment.
