PRESIDIANS ADVOCATE FOR AN EQUITABLE FUTURE FOR EVERY CHILD

UNICEF, the United Nations Children's Fund, promotes the rights and wellbeing of every child. December 11th every year is celebrated as UNICEF Day. Presidium celebrated this day with a special assembly. Students not only joined together in fundraising for the vulnerable children, but they also took the initiative of donating necessities like masks, sanitizer, hand wash, etc. Students wrote slogans, poems, made posters on the Rights of every child seeking Safe Shelter, Proper Nutrition, Child Protection from Disasters and Conflicts, Equality, Education, Social Inclusion. These activities not only created awareness about the role of UNICEF in societies worldwide but at the same time, students also realized how children's rights are violated in different parts of the world and how they can be protected and addressed.
