PRESIDIANS VOW TO STAND UP AGAINST VIOLATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS
Dated: 10-12-2020
10th December is an opportunity to reaffirm the importance of human rights in re-building the world we want, the need for global solidarity, and our interconnectedness and shared humanity. This was no better understood by the leaders of tomorrow as they presented a Nukkad Natak on the rights of the children and expressed empathy towards them, taking a stand for care and love and right to education for them. The students also expressed their views on how the COVID-19 crisis was fuelled by intensifying poverty, inequalities, and entrenched discrimination. Through their posters, they highlighted how our continued efforts to close these gaps and measures to champion human rights could ensure we fully recover and build back a world that is better, more resilient, and sustainable.
