SALUTING SPORTS LEGENDS FOR THEIR SPIRIT ON NATIONAL SPORTS DAY

"Winning is not everything, but the effort to win is." Sports inculcate this habit of putting effort and never giving up. Therefore, to imbibe the values of sports and honour the sports heroes of our country, Presidium conducted a special assembly on National Sports Day, which also celebrates the birth anniversary of Major Dhyan Chand on August 29. Students expressed their feelings about the legendary hockey player Major Dhyan Chand Singh by sharing his achievements. Students also talked about sports personalities like Sachin Tendulkar, Saina Nehwal, and Milkha Singh. They even took up various fitness challenges at home like the skip for a minute, balance on one foot, hoop for a minute, and many more.
