STUDENTS PLEDGE TO BUILD A CLEANER, GREENER & SUSTAINABLE PLANET

Akshay Urja Diwas is an awareness campaign about the developments of renewable energy in India, celebrated on August 20 every year since 2004. Presidium observed Akshay Urja Diwas virtually to make students aware of the numerous advantages of using renewable energy sources. Our talented students made posters, wrote quotes and slogans, speech, and prepared models to celebrate this day. The students, along with teachers, took a pledge to conserve energy. They displayed scientific models based on renewable energy sources and talked about the judicious use of electricity and life processes to save the environment from pollution. It also emphasized increasing the capacity of solar energy and converting the waste into the best disposal of garbage.
