Menstruation is still considered taboo in Indian society. Lack of adequate information on sanitation and hygiene facilities, particularly in public places, such as in schools, workplaces, or health centers, can pose a significant obstacle to women and girls. In an attempt to provide a platform to our girl students for open discussion about Menstruation and educate them against the stigma, social and cultural taboos related to the same, we at Presidium conducted a workshop on Menstruation Awareness and Hygiene. The Gynecologist provided the know-how on handling the topic of Menstruation and improved girls' knowledge of personal hygiene and boosted their confidence by answering their questions through an interactive session.
