PRESIDIANS URGE ALL TO SAY NO TO TOBACCO!

Even though scientific evidence has revealed its harmful health effects, the use of Tobacco in different forms has dramatically increased, especially in developing countries. To throw light on the concerning issue of increasing consumption of Tobacco, Presidium organized a special virtual assembly on Anti-Tobacco Day. Presidians participated by writing articles to draw the attention of one and all to the dangers of using Tobacco. Their articles presented the view that the youth of today are an empowered lot who will stand up to big tobacco companies by resisting their glamorous ads and marketing, by refusing the use of any tobacco or nicotine products. Some students articulated their thoughts through innovative posters and thoughtful speeches.
