Presidians Explore Paris with Host Families on an Exchange Trip
Dated: 04-06-2016
Presidians undertook a journey to the city of lights-Paris, for gaining global exposure and building cultural awareness as a part of an international exchange program organized by the school. The experiences and interactions of our students with their host families gave them a taste of the rich French culture and its diversity, while building lasting relationships with their new friends. The warmth and hospitality of the host families built a sense of respect and appreciation for the beautiful nation and its people in our students. They realized that despite the geographical distances and differences of culture, traditions and customs, we are still connected with one common thread, i.e. humanity.
The trip also provided our students opportunities to tour some of the major attractions of the city and witness the grandeur of the architectural icons of Paris, like the ‘Eiffel Tower’. They admired the incredible artistic treasures at the grand Art Museum in Rouen. Presidians also took a fun-filled trip to Disneyland and also experienced the rich biodiversity of the Amazon forests through a panoramic exhibition at the Seine museum. It was indeed an enriching and rewarding experience for the students, who explored a new land, language and culture.
