Presidians believe in discussing, conversing and being inspired by the worthy thoughts of others. After attending Sanskriti MUN recently, the students are now participating in the Harvard Model United Nation (HMUN) 2013, which began on 15th August at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre, and will last till 18th August, 2013. Our nine chosen Presidians are the members of the third session of HMUN Conference. Stared over 75 years back, HMUN is the oldest Model United Nations simulations in the world. The HMUN session in India has the potential to excel the impact of other plentiful learning experiences for students. The present HMUN session is noted by: • Renowned 8 rarefied personalities from across the globe • 1025 diligent participants from 9 countries • 140 faculty advisors The students and the faculty advisors are having an unusual chance to interact with these leaders and other eminent speakers. The UN conference is an opportunity for Presidians to experience diplomacy, foreign relations and discuss the pressing global issues on the UN agenda. Presidium encourages the students to participate in such sessions to give them a true insight of the international standers. The students are developing their abilities to work with others who are equally motivated and passionate about the topics of debate and are eager to respond to global concerns. Our Presidians are actively participating and making their presence felt at the HMUN. They are giving their options and views on the global concerns. Our future builders know their responsibility well.
