PRESIDIUM CELEBRATES INDIAN CLASSICAL DANCE ON WORLD DANCE DAY

On the eve of World Dance Day which falls on 29th April every year, the Rhythm of the Soul Academy in collaboration with SPIC MACAY, organised a two day Classical Dance Fest celebrating the Indian dance forms at Ashok Vihar, Indirapuram, Gurgaon, and Dwarka from 28th to 29th April. The Hon’ble Chairperson of Mother’s Pride and Presidium, Mrs Sudha Gupta, graced the occasion and motivated the students with her kind words. At the event Presidians were briefed about the significance of various dance forms in Indian culture and witnessed the spectacular performances by the legendary classical dancers of Odissi, Manipuri, and Kathak, namely, Smt Sharon Lowen; Sri Guru Singhajit Singh and Charu Sija Mathur ; Shri Ram Mohan Maharaj and Km. Prerna Shimali.
