PRESIDIUM CELEBRATES MAHASHIVRATRI

Presidians of Grade III from Presidium Dwarka 16B, learnt the significance of the festival of Mahashivratri and performed on the theme in a special assembly hosted on 1 March. The students of Grade III hosted this assembly where they discussed about why and how the festival is celebrated. The students dramatized the essence of the festival and enacted the wedding of Lord Shiva with Goddess Parvati with beautiful detailing. Taking the theme ahead they also performed the Tandav Nritya signifying Lord Shiva in the form of Nataraj and shared the important features of the dance form. They also took the initiative spread the spiritual message of Shivratri which is essentially self realisation and being one with inner self.
