A revolutionary, a philanthropist, a nobel prize laureate, and most importantly, the greatest leader, who believed in the power of action - Nelson Mandela is an inspiration for millions of beings including all of us at Presidium. To honour his legacy, the students celebrated Nelson Mandela Day. With effective speeches, the Presidians trumpeted his call to ‘make the world a better place’. Powerful enactments also encouraged recognise their individual role in fueling momentum toward positive change, raising awareness and expanding the reach of Nelson Mandela’s values-fighting justice, helping people in need and practicing reconciliation.
