BOWING TO THE TORCHBEARERS OF OUR LIVES ON GURU PURNIMA

A Guru is a representative of Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva. He creates & sustains knowledge and destroys the weeds of ignorance. Gurus show us the light every time we are in the dark, they lead us to peace every time our soul sinks under chaos and they draw us the path that will reach us to enlightenment, to a successful life. On the occasion of Guru Purnima, the Presidians took it upon them to express gratitude to their teachers for being the torchbearers of their lives. These Gurus indeed play a massive role in building a great nation and to pay a tribute to them, all Presidium schools hosted a special assembly. With Kabir Dohas, Shlokhas and inspiring speeches, the students uplifted the essence of this pious occasion. They also rekindled the ‘Guru-Shishya parampara’ by performing enactments of the relationship between eklavya and Guru Dronacharya. The Presidians undoubtedly felt blessed to receive the wisdom and guidance from their Gurus that would transform their lives.
