BUDDHA PURNIMA: PRESIDIANS DISCOVER THE PATH TO ENLIGHTENMENT

Gautam Buddha is one of the greatest saint and preacher known to the land. His teachings lead all on an illuminated path of enlightenment wherein one can truly discover his/her soul. On the occasion of Buddha Purnima, our Presidians gathered to commemorate the life of Buddha and his eight fold path of life. The students enacted the journey of Lord Buddha through a mesmerising drama. They also spoke about the eight fold path of life, i.e., Right knowledge, Right attitude, Right speech, Right action Right means of livelihood, Right effort, Right awareness and Right meditation. The students then took part in a group meditation so that together they can do some soul searching and attain peace away from the chaos of life. The Presidians felt very enlightened after the session and were very inspired by his teachings which they wish to follow in their lives as well.
