ANNUAL SPORTS DAY HELD WITH GREAT ELAN AT PRESIDIUM DWARKA 16B

The eagerly awaited event of the year at Presidium, the Annual Sports Day was held on 30th November 2015 at Presidium Dwarka 16B. The six clubs of Presidium, Leaders, Elites, Supremes, Legends, Maestros and Victors started the event with a march past followed by an oath-taking ceremony which was led by the Head Girl. The sports meet was declared open by the Honourable Chairperson of Presidium and Mothers Pride, Ms. Sudha Gupta. She addressed Presidians and motivated them to pay equal attention to sports along with studies. The four National Level Achievers Dhruv Bajaj, Parth Gholya of Grade IX, Pari Gulati of Grade VI and Krisha Gulati of Grade I were all acknowledged at the event for their hard work and determination.
There were an array of different games and events. It started with races and the victorious students were acknowledged with medals by the jury of esteemed guests which included the hon’ble Chairperson Mrs. Sudha Gupta; the Guest of Honour Mr. Gulab Singh Gahlot, Sports Conveyor, South West, B Najafgarh Zone 21; Mr. Sunny Joswa, Joint Secretary of Delhi Olympic Association, Vice President of Athletic Federation of India, National Position Holder in Javlien (1972-75); Ms. Meena Joshi, HOD Sports Presidium; and Ms. Vidhi Singh, HOD Starmakers also graced the event.
The trophies were given to the Best Athletes, Best March Past Trophy and the Club Champions Trophy. The Best March Past Trophy was given to Victors Club, Clubs Runners-up Trophy was given to the Maestros and the Overall Best Champion Trophy was awarded to the Legends.
