PRESIDIANS SPREAD THE GOODNESS OF THE FESTIVAL OF BAISAKHI

The wonderfully cheerful festival of Baisakhi marks the foundation of the Khalsa Panth by the 10th Holy Guru of the Sikhs, Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji. His golden words convey: ‘Sat suroop satgur da dhyaan dharmna’; which means to contemplate and turn your thoughts towards the true enlightener. He started the ‘Order of the Pure’ or the Khalsa on this day. His noble teachings spread the message of unity and oneness of faith. This festival also marks the beginning of the harvest season in India.

They also participated in exciting song, dance and skit performances and rejoiced with full vigour. Reflecting on the significance of the festival, Presidians celebrated the occasion and beheld his teachings in their hearts to believe in knowledge as the true enlightener and they should seek and assimilate it.
